Ill be doing a comparison between the Boya by-mm1 and Røde video mic pro + very soon. The reason for that is that I want to see if there is any reason why to pic the pro mic rather than this cheap mic. In this video I think the sound quality is pretty good. Let me know if you want to see other comparisons also, and Ill try it out.
Is this the best vlogging setup?
At least if your a hybrid shooter like me. Taking a lot of stills and video. This setup gives you a mirror for vlogging, it gives you high quality stills that you can print on a big scale, it gives you decent audio and good video. If you would go for the sony a7siii you dont need the mirror, since the screen flips out on the side. And you get alot better film quality, but you lose the high resolution pictures, since it shoots at maximum 12 mp. For me this setup with a7riv, the mirror and a small mic is much more valuable.
