THIS is IT – SONY A7S III !

Sony has finally confirmed that the Sony a7siii is coming! The release date is 28th of july! They will unveil the camera and all of its feature. This is a huge announcement coming from Sony that will probably kill all competition. Canon just released the R5 and R6 which will be its true competition. If I know Sony right, they will step up the game with something even better. It is 5 years ago since Sony upgraded the S line, so its long overdue and awaited from many.

A flip-out/flip-up screen and filming in 4k 4.2.2. 10 bit, if it has these 2 features, I will not hessitat for one second before pre-ordering it. Another feature that I highly appreciate is 10fps or more in mechanical shutter. I also need a sensor with 24 or more megapixels for it to be usable for professionall stills work. 8k and 6k is nothing of importance for me.

Currently im shooting stills with the A7R 4 and the A7R 3. Im doing my film work with A7R4, A7R3, A6400 and A7S2. If the A7S3 has the features im describing over, I will sell my A7RIII and buy the Siii. Since I really need a better film camera as my a-cam wich can double as a good stills b-cam. The R3 will have no usable place in my bag then.
